Meet The Staff
Tucker has been working with metal since 1985.
He earned his AAS in Tool & Die Making from
Wilson Tech and went on to serve two state
apprenticeships, one in machining the other in
welding. He was an instructor in both these
fields with Wilson and Johnston Community
Colleges and is the resident blacksmith at the
Tobacco Farm Life Museum in Kenly, NC. He enjoys
collecting and repairing antique tools and is a
member of MWTCA (Mid West Tool Collectors
www.mwtca.org , ABANA (Artist and
Blacksmiths Association of North America)
www.abana.org , and BOLTS (Brotherhood Of
Learning and Teaching Smiths).
has been with Industrial Service since it opened
seven years in the U.S.A.F. Manning attended
Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton, Va.
He then transferred to the Mechanical
Engineering program at North Carolina State
Manning is a FAA licensed Private Pilot, and is
a member of the Experimental Aircraft
Association chapter 1047 (www.eaa1047.org)
located at the Wilson Airport.
He is also a member of the Aircraft Owners and
Pilots Association (www.aopa.org)
Other hobbies and interests include:
Gunsmithing, building and flying RC model
